For over 4 generations, Nathalie's European roots have been tied to that of the beauty found within nature. Her compassion for nature and all the wonders it has unfolded before her is now a part of not only a product, but that of a lifestyle as well...

Here is a little of her story...

As Founder of IntelCosmet Inc as seen today, Nathalie started to be interested in beauty and mixing aromas at a very young age, not knowing about her heritage, she found comfort in nature and its wonders.  While most children were quite happy mixing mud in the sandbox, Nathalie was more interested in mixing her mother’s perfumes, spices and other things she would find about the land and house.

From all the stories of these generations far told, beauty, nature and the arts were closely knitted together. The family name "Van Eeckhoudt" translates to "Wood of Oak" in the English language or "Bois du Chêne" in that of the French language.  Even here, destiny seems to have been engraved throughout history for Nathalie. Born 1962 in Bruxelles, Nathalie Van Eeckhoudt grew up looking out upon the world from a small window in her home in Saint Pierre Capelle, Belgium into the vastness of nature before her.  She is proud today to share a little of her years of wisdom and the proud heritage of her past generations. 

She tells a small story about herself as a child...

"I remember from a very small age, I used to take this special mixture everywhere I went...I would use a paper tissue, not just any tissue paper, it had to be just right. I would then let it soak up this special mix of mine and keep it a little plastic bag. I adored the aromas, good and *** slipping my little plastic pouch from time to time, taking little sniffs, even prior to sleeping I needed to smell it just once more, drifting off into sleep filled with aromas."

Her mother, a true avant-gardist at the time directed a very prestigious world renowned Spa (Ginesthe) (1962 to 1966).  This Spa was a gathering and association of various professionals of health from around the world.  In particular, that of kinesitherapists, and physiotherapists.  Here, one found therapeutic care in the form of volcanic envelopment of mud and products of the sea with followed medical guidance.  Nathalie's mother went on to renowned status in Europe in the development and concept of some of the most prestigious SPA's in the world.  She is known as an expert in her field covering all aspects of the real meaning of a SPA from concept to door opening.  The term SPA in Europe is quite different from the concepts seen here in North America ( as Nathalie was soon to discover in her later years ).  Nathalie followed her mother as she performed her tasks, traveling as her mother went about her work, learning the nature of SPA's in there true terms, and being proud to say and know as well that her mother designed the very SPA before them, something that many children would not come to know.

Today, Nathalie is still mixing and creating aroma’s and more today, only now they are that of Mother Nature’s essences, and not that of her Mother’s cosmetic or food pantry...

Convinced to be able to do better than the mass marketed products available today, she set out to not only make promises, but to deliver products that worked naturally.  It was here that Nathalie took on the quest to develop her own unique products.

"We all have unique needs and skin!"  It was here that Nathalie began to develop 100% natural products to match that of her clients individual needs.

The Art of Intelligent Natural Cosmetics is Born!

In early 2000, the market began to see her very first 100% Natural Cosmetic products on a larger scale.  They have since gained a solid and fast growing client base, known for there hyper-reactive non-allergic capacities while being totally designed for each individuals unique needs.

Graced with a childhood surrounded by the cosmetic industry along with 2 years of Bio-aesthetic studies and training in the early 80’s, Nathalie came to Canada to open the very first Yves Rocher center of aesthetics in Montreal, Canada (Frankness Yves Rocher 1982-1984).  Within its first year of operation, Nathalie’s expertise proved magic.  In 1984, Nathalie was awarded in person by Yves Rochers a diamond ring for the best franchise around the world.  That same Year, Yves Rocher proposed the responsibility within the company to develop Internationally (within Canada).  His Mandate, to develop 28 more Yves Rocher centers throughout Quebec and transmit the Philosophy of the Company to franchise. That meant, creation of Procedure Handbooks, Protocols, Technical Handbooks for then dealing with the Formation and the animation of each center.

After leaving Yves Rocher in a quest to do more, she represented a media company for a short time where Nathalie took part in televised recordings, special shows and in International congresses as an exhibitor, technician, trainer and more.  At the beginning of 1992, and after 10 years of international experience near a company whose vocation was and still is today, beauty by nature.  Nathalie’s quest to further her knowledge through her professional activities allowed her to work with some of the best produced cosmetic companies on the International market known today.

Most cosmetic products today contain more than just naturals, and it is here that most irritations are created.  Propylene glycol (used as a conservative), amongst other things. Propylene glycol is an ingredient with particularly reactive and allergen capacities for most people.  Moreover, Propylene glycol and its derivatives forms part with 99% of all known cosmetic products today.  Its expensive price causes certain manufacturers of cosmetics to use inferior qualities of original minerals, organics, and more (75% of the cosmetic companies use raw material derivatives, minerals or that of under refined oils).  With time these mineral or synthetic organic matters are the main reason of skin discomforts and at times rather serious allergic reactions.
